I now have a new job doing motorcycle insurance more updates soon :D
Hopefully a good thing to come out of this is no more shift work and therefore more updates due to a regular sleeping pattern and having more energy.
Hey maybe ill even reach my goal of 75kg by the end of 2014 if I get back into physical work.
Either way I will try make updating the site and writing a more regular occurrence.
Sorry for the horrible lack of updates as of late. January has not been the kindest of months to me. So I started the month with the intention of going to the gym heaps doing well in my role at work and generally getting geared up for better things to happen in 2014.
The actuality of the month was much more shall we say bleak.
First and formost my mother informed me that she was going to the UK for a year when I asked why she said my nan was getting worse (Illness we previously knew about). I would have been fine with my mum going for a year for a holiday or to clear ones head but to hear the reasoning was quite upsetting as I can not afford to also go and spend those last couple months with my nan.
After this there was the gym had quite a lot going on so have been on and off the gym like a yo yo and its only now things are settling down enough that I'm hoping I can get it together.
On January 23rd 2014 I also had my employment terminated for reasons I can only say I strongly disagree with but don’t have the time effort or money to fight a corporate that large. Thanks to my individual employment contract I can't talk much about it I also can't work for any telco in general for another 5 years.
All in all a pretty crap month so now its onto job searching tweaking the bike getting a race licence getting back into android coding on the side and hoping that 2014 shapes up to be a good year after such a poor beginning.
Back to work for today and tomorrow still feel like I am in holiday mode and really don't want to get back into it just yet but I guess we all feel that way this time of year :P
Don't know if I wrote about it but I applied for another managerial role so we will see if I hear back about that come new years start of Jan.
Hopefully it should be a good New Years and a good year career wise if not might have to change things up a bit but we will see how it all plays out.
Hope everyone is getting ready to celebrate or at least relax a bit we all got through Christmas and we are about to start a fresh year best wishes to all :D
Also I might keep doing small updates in between bigger ones easier to find the time that way :)
That crazy time of year again, it never fails to amaze me how everyone looses there minds. So much chaos in such little time most of which consists of first world problems and no real issues. It is a time fraught with controversy and joy a time where we try to be with family but also try rake in that last big pay cheque.
I have worked the past 2 Christmas seasons chasing that time and a half and this year decided to slow things down and take some annual leave. Even though I am glad I did this and know I could use the break but I can't help missing the money. It seems that after Christmas and new years flat-line your bank balance everything else needs doing in my case Rego $600 WOF $40 back tyre $310 new brake pads $100 full service $140 and probably other things I've forgotten.
Then we also have or New years resolutions I am trying to get a head start on mine by going to the gym after work leading up to New years so that hopefully I can keep the trend going afterward and keep the promise to myself.
All in all a busy but enjoyable Christmas was had and I can not wait for new years.
Lets see what 2014 brings
The Track day was awesome I was nervous at first and the track was wet which didn't help but as things dried out and I got comfortable, it got really good I feel I know myself and my bike better after the experience. The people at the track were also awesome and where happy to give tips and advice which was much appreciated. I will definitely be going again asap but for now I have to conserve whats left of the back tire till I can afford another LOL
Anyway I have posted the first vid to youtube from the dry portion of the day and will post the wet part today.
Here's to getting better everytime and staying sunny side up :)
Very excited for my first track day albeit in the rain. Hopefully can do well today although I really do not have high hopes for the weather getting any better.
I blew an indicator bulb the other night so that is first on the list then an oil change and hopefully getting an o2 eliminator today to so the bike adhears more to my map instead of the stock o2 sensor. Obviously with the rain I will be dropping my tyre pressures and re adjusting the suspension hopefully these changes help me retain atleast some speed for my first time.
I will be taking video and aslong as the lens are not completly covered in water the majority of the vid I will upload it asap.
I don't suppose anyone knows about the Contour Roam 2 and what alternatives I could use as storyteller is a piece of crap and I want to only upload the good bits to you tube.
Anyway work has been very busy indeed I went for a management position didn't turn out to well but did make interview and short list so maybe next time but yeah very busy lately work and bikes. I will try get on more and hope everyone likes the site re design will be updating my youtube and twitter more to in coming weeks mostly bike stuff but other bits also.
Not very good at this whole writing thing or updating thing but will try put effort in and get better at all this jazz.
So started a site started a blog and rebuilt the PC. It looks like it's time to get busy again. Work is a main focus home second this last so if I am away at times you know why (Because my priority's are in order).
Anyway I will try my best to keep things updated and keep everyone that reads this in mind and try to stay at a casual professional level and keep a good sense of humor.
Why have I started all of this glad you asked I needed somewhere I could keep thoughts share things and write down thoughts etc.
Maybe not the best way to do things I mean you could always have a diary but I felt this was easier and or more fun in general plus I can add a lot more to it. My job revolves around technology and therefore it is only fitting that parts of my life are filed in the same manner.
Oh and this page also has my twitter my Gmail and my FaceBook and a RSS feed so I am always in touch.
